You will be greeted at the Haridwar railway station and taken to Chopta in a private cab. On the way, you will witness the magnificent religious attractions in Rishikesh and Haridwar like Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Parmarth Niketan and Geeta Bhawan. On arrival at Chopta, get dropped at your hotel. After check-in, refresh yourselves and luxuriate in the pleasant climate of the place. Enjoy a delicious dinner and have a good night’ sleep at the Chopta base camp.
After a sumptuous breakfast, get ready for the Tungnath Chandrashila trek. Walk through the green grasslands to reach Tungnath. The trek is moderately easy and there are stone benches on the path to rest and gaze at the beauty of the peaks. An hour climb from Tungnath takes you to Chandrashila. On return, check-in at the camps in Chopta and rejoice the overnight stay there.
Relish a delicious breakfast, check-out and drive to Sari village which is 10 kilometers from Chopta. The trek to Deoriatal from Sari is 2.3 kilometers in distance and there are few tea shops on the way. The reflection of the Chaukhamba Peak in Deoria Tal Lake is a spectacular view for nature lovers. There are jungle trekking, bird watching and videography activities available at Deoriatal. Later, trek back to Sari and proceed to Haridwar for your homeward-bound journey..
