Teen Dham Yatra is a religious pilgrimage tour in India that involves visiting three sacred Hindu shrines located in the state of Uttarakhand. The three shrines are Kedarnath, Badrinath, and Yamunotri. The word “Teen Dham” means “three abodes” in Hindi. The pilgrimage usually starts from Haridwar, a holy city in Uttarakhand, and proceeds to the three shrines. Yamunotri is the first stop, followed by Kedarnath and then Badrinath . These three shrines are located in the high Himalayas, and the journey involves a lot of trekking and walking. The yatra is usually undertaken during the summer months, from May to October, as the winters are harsh and the shrines remain closed. The Teen Dham Yatra is considered to be a very important pilgrimage in the Hindu religion, and it is believed that by visiting these three shrines, one can attain moksha (liberation from the cycle of birth and death). The yatra is also an opportunity for devotees to experience the natural beauty and serenity of the Himalayas, and to immerse themselves in the spiritual atmosphere of the region.
Pick up from Haridwar railway station and drive to Barkot. Reach Barkot and check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, proceed to Hanuman Chatti and take local jeeps for Janki chatti, start trek from Janki chatti to Yamunotri (Either by walk or by horse at own cost). On arrival in Yamunotri “Darshan” of pious “Yamunaji”. After “Puja” (Prayer) drive back to barkot. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, proceed to Guptkashi. On arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
After early breakfast, proceed to Gourikund.Start trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath Jee (Height 3584 mts) either by walk or by poly at own cost. Reach Kedarnath Jee and check-in at hotel, later visit to Shankaracharya Samadhi behind Kedarnath Jee Temple and take a part in evening aarti at Kedarnath Jee Temple. Overnight stay at hotel.
Early morning, visit to Kedarnath Temple, later trek down to Gaurikund and proceed to Rudraprayag via Guptkashi. Reach Guptkashi and check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, proceed to Badrinath (Height 3,133 mts) via Joshimath, later proceed to Badrinath Jee. On arrival check-in at hotel. Evening visit to Badrinath Temple to see the Aarti. Overnight stay at hotel..
Early morning, take a bath in Taptkund and have the darshan of Badrivishal and visit to Brahamakapal, Mana village, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the “Mukh” of the Saraswati River, later proceed to Joshimath (44 km/ 03 hrs). On arrival Check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Early morning, visit Narsingh Temple and Shankracharaya Math, later proceed to Haridwar.sightseeing of Rishikesh, Visit to Laxman Jhulla, Ram Jhulla, Triveni Ghat, Bharat Mandir etc, On arrival transfer the guests to haridwar Railway Station train for onward journey and tour terminates.
